Research

Professor Gemmell's interests span water resources, physical/chemical processes, systems engineering, and environmental planning. His work in water resources and systems engineering addresses regional water-quality management, including optimization of design and operation. His process interests are in particle interactions, while his focus in environmental planning is on the development of methodologies for evaluating large-scale systems.
